Veethree D7 SDK
|
The D7 device supports external storage via SD Card and USB mass storage devices.
To access the SD Card slot, you will need to take off one of the caps on the back of the device. See the pictures in Serial Port for instructions on uncovering the SD Card slot.
When an SD Card is added to the device, it is automatically mounted to /mnt/sdcard.
The USB-C port on the back of the device can be used for attaching storage. However, please note that using a USB drive is also the main supported way to apply software updates. See Applying a software update on a device for more information.
If the USB drive attached contains a .swu file, the D7 will attempt to apply the update. If there are any other files on it, the update will fail and the device will need to be power cycled.
The default mount point for a USB drive is /mnt/usbstick.
