Sales & Marketing Executive

Veethree are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to join our marketing team to help us grow, and offering a role in which you can develop your career.

The focus for this role is to take a strategic review of our market places, with particular focus on UK & Europe, USA & India, looking at our competitor activity and pricing to identify opportunities for growth. You will then work to develop a strategy and implement marketing campaigns to support those objectives using multiple channels including paid and social to generate inbound leads and nurture those to qualified leads for our sales team.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to put into practice market research and pricing strategy techniques, digital marketing techniques, creating, reviewing & managing campaigns. Plus working on adhoc projects such as a new ecommerce site helping to make it a success for business growth. The role is offered on an initial fixed term contract of 24 months, with potential to extend.

This is a varied role and will incorporate a variety of functions including:

  • Spotting new opportunities, making recommendations and implementing them
  • Contributing to & evolving marketing strategy as well as developing tactical campaigns
  • Report on site activity using tools such as Google Ads & Google Analytics
  • Make recommendations on site conversion metrics
  • Supporting marketing activity with other sites and campaigns as needed
  • Manage the initial enquiry conversation taking opportunities through the initial stages of the sales process

We would expect you to:

  • Be adaptable, looking for a challenge, able to prioritise and have an organised approach
  • Have an interest in digital marketing, understanding of concepts and tools such as: Social Media (LinkedIn & Facebook), basics of SEO & Google Ads
  • Be able to review and manipulate data from CRM, Google Analytics with advanced level experience of Excel
  • Be comfortable talking to colleagues & customers on the phone, online and in person

The ideal person would also:

  • Have an Accounting and Marketing background & be motivated by achieving targets and business growth
  • Have experience dealing with international markets including UK & Europe, USA & India
  • Understand best practice approaches and undertake market research and pricing strategies
  • Be able to translate strategy into tactical campaigns and put those into practice
  • Enjoy preparing for and working at tradeshows generating pre show taster content and be comfortable approaching targets for appointment setting

What will you be doing?

Working within a cross functional team, the role will be to design and develop electronics products for use in in a variety of display applications for control, monitoring and expanding our connected capability through telematics and IoT.

You’ll be responsible for or involved in:

  • Developing and designing hardware solutions to meet the required specification.
  • Creating schematic designs and PCB layout for complex SoC based systems.
  • Designing optimisation for performance, manufacturability and cost.
  • Ensuring that development work adheres to the requirements of project design specifications and other supporting documentation.
  • Develop test plans to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Playing an active role in projects, team meetings etc. Liaise with other cross functional team members, suppliers and other interested parties throughout projects and encourage their involvement and participation.
  • Participate and where necessary lead design reviews, communicate ideas and solutions, influence decisions and problem solving.
  • Test, validate and document design solutions ensuring they are robust and reliable by using appropriate tools and techniques and evaluate outcomes and act as required.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of technical files as new products are designed, or existing products are changed.
  • Having a detailed and thorough understanding of our own products, and proactively seek to learn about competing products.
  • Provide technical support to other areas of the business when required.
  • Design and develop new products and product improvements, balancing innovative engineering design, functional requirements and aesthetic appeal with product usability, cost effectiveness, ease of manufacture, installation and maintainability.
  • Assist the commercial team in creating quotations for potential new projects.

What skills are required?

We would expect the candidate to be able to demonstrate:

  • At least 3 years’ industry experience in electronic hardware and / or system design.
  • Degree educated in electronic design (or related) or long track record in related field.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing embedded single board computers, ideally with NXP i.MX family processors.
  • Experience with smaller microcontroller based systems ideally using STM32 or similar devices.
  • Experience of EMC emission mitigation techniques and familiarity with compliance testing requirements.
  • Experience in circuit design using Altium Designer to produce well structured and maintainable schematics and PCB designs.
  • Experience of board bring up with ability to debug new and existing hardware to component level and resolve problems.
  • Digital and Analogue design experience to support sensor integration.

You should be a ‘self-starter’ capable of working with minimal guidance and solving problems using available resources, and have the ability to understand software and hardware integration requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to review hardware designs and provide constructive feedback across a global team.
  • Ability to work closely with embedded software team.
  • Confident in the use of spectrum analysers, logic analysers, oscilloscopes and test equipment
  • Experience of CAN bus protocol.
  • Experience in working within an ISO9001 environment.
  • Some experience of radio data communication and associated approval processes.

What is the package?

In return we offer a salary of £35.000 to £45,000 per year depending on experience, plus benefits including:

Shipping & Fulfilment Administrator

What will you be doing?

Essentially you will be responsible for managing inbound deliveries, making sure there are no damages/missing goods. Preparing and packaging orders to ensure these are secure for shipping, & arranging those outbound shipments, booking collections via couriers including UPS & DHL.

What skills are required?

No prior experience is required as we will provide the necessary training and support for the role but there are some skills that will be required to fit the role, they are:

  • Computer proficiency and experience of Microsoft Office tools
  • Effective communication/comprehension skills – verbal and written
  • Ability to function independently and multi-task
  • Physical requirements – ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb ladders, lift and pack boxes
