A look back at 2019, a turbulent year for some, with the uncertainty of Brexit continuing. Being part of a group company allowed us to take advantage of the industry wide quieter 1st quarter to invest in training and growing our team with a number of new staff hires across the company, including two new engineers, a graphic designer and two new additions to the sales team. This further enabled us to work on our internal strategic programs and along with a number of new application projects from our clients.
This positive investment at the start of the year yielded a fantastic result with a 28% increase in turnover whilst maintaining our net profits by the year end.
The careful planning and consideration of our team in the UK and the group has supported this growth. As we continue in 2020 with our strategic planning to ensure we are suitably positioned to support the next 5 years’ worth of growth for the company.
CANtronik’s, marketing team has completed our rebrand to Veethree Technologies with an exciting and fresh clean look which harmonises our appearance with our country counter parts in the USA. Coupled with this our product range has opened up considerably, with the offering of Mechanical and CAN gauges, Level Senders and a range of Sensors for various capabilities. The ability to offer Instrument Clusters and bespoke design work. Furthermore, we have completed and launched a number of new projects which include the first commercial ‘off the shelf’ full round touch TFT 3” display for the Marine market, designed as a drop in gauge for existing analogue gauges. The inclusion of DC digital switching controlled and configured by our full touch 5” display, along with prototypes of our new 7” display as part of the family of touchscreen displays.
This year saw Veethree Technologies debut at Bauma & Agritechnica along with our regular trade show calendar increasing our presence in our global market arena and entering into new industry segments.
Whist we love to report good news, we recognise we still have room for improvement and complacency mustn’t set in. We thank our existing customers for their continued loyalty and support, and we look forward to working with you in 2020, improving our service, delivery, offerings and growing our mutual business together as your strategic supplier partner of choice.
So, what’s in-store for us here in the UK for 2020, we are pleased to announce the recruitment of our new Business Development Manager for industrial, along with continued expansion in Engineering and new products to market.
