Coronavirus Outbreak

11th March 2020

With Coronavirus now impacting supply chains across many industries, we are seeking to reassure customers that we will continue to be able to deliver on current order schedules.

In order to plan for future orders, we are working with customers to forecast requirements for materials and production.

The major outbreak of COVID-19 in China, and now elsewhere around the world, is leading to supply chain disruptions, raw material delivery delays, rising input costs and increased pressure on stocks in many manufacturing sectors

See below to read a statement from General Manager, Neil Campbell, to find out how we are managing the current situation:

“Becoming part of the global Veethree brand last year has afforded us a far greater bulk-buying, warehousing, and manufacturing capability. The spread across locations around the world help us to be better equipped to absorb the impact posed by eventualities such as the widespread outbreak of the new Coronavirus.

For example based on current demand and buffered inventory, we anticipate supply through to December of our popular C3 3.5” colour display, with robust stocks of Gauge components also.

Parts for our displays and gauge ranges are at robust levels and we have strong communication lines across the group. Some of the elements are made out of our India plant, with good component levels in the US factory which is operating to maintain supplies. Being US-built we can also be assured of a quality build in a controlled environment. We also warehouse finished products in the UK and Chicago, USA.
To date, none of our employees have been infected and all plants are fully operational. We are taking safeguarding precautions to protect our workforce and following current advice from authorities in order to avoid contagion, remaining vigilant and putting in new measures as required.

I would like to thank our customers for their help in forecasting production requirement to allow us to plan material and staffing levels.”
