SDKC Colour
Veethree SDKs allow customers to develop software for our CAN bus displays.
The SDKC Colour supports the C3-Series, C7, T5, T7i, R3 and R3s displays. Applications can be written in C or C++. The graphics are drawn using C functions provided by the SDK. Functions are also provided to allow the software to interact with the CAN bus, UART and I/O.
The SDKC functions include:
- Software updates for displays are simple to create and apply via a USB stick
- Windows simulator is provided for easy debugging, allowing the software to be run and debugged on a Windows PC. CAN, IO and UART data can be obtained from a C3 display running the gateway application. CAN data can also be obtained from PCAN and CANdo dongles
- Draw gauges using the included UIGauge library
- Device hardware features supported via APIs
- CAN, I/O and UART are supported with code examples
- J1939 and NMEA2000 protocols supported via CT2KLib library (additional purchase needed)
- Fast graphics using two layers: back layer for static content, such as labels; and front layer for content that is updated every frame, such as data values and needles
- PNG images can be added to the application using the BuildResources tool
- Text, including rotated text, can be drawn to the screen using TrueType fonts
- Includes gcc toolchains for all supported displays
- Applications can be developed in Visual Studio
