Kongsberg Maritime delivers products and systems for dynamic positioning, navigation and automation to merchant vessels and offshore installations. The Metasystems Division of Kongsberg Maritime was searching for a programmable display that could be used to show specific sensor data that measured shaft power and torque.

Following detailed technical discussions Veethree recommended the purchase of a Software Development Kit (SDK) for the M4. Then with Veethree engineering support a custom binary protocol was devised for a quad screen layout of the M4 and by using an existing project template that significantly reducing the software development time a working solution produced in less than a week.
